• KENYA - a team first went to Nairobi in Kenya in November 2000 with the blessing of the Most Rev Ndingi, Archbishop of Nairobi. Two conferences took place this year: one on the outskirts of the capital, Nairobi, and the other at EmBul-Bul in the Diocese of N'gong. Teams from the UK continue to visit and encourage the groups that have sprouted into life in recent years.
• UGANDA - hearing of Harvesters' visit to East Africa, the Ugandan National Service Committee asked the team of three to come and run a conference for men at the Emmaus School of Evangelisation. Men attended from every corner or Uganda and, after two years of visits, Ugandan men are now running their own days and conferences.
• TANZANIA - 2002 saw the first team from Harvesters visit the Agape Centre on the outskirts of Dar Es Salaam at the invitation of Roman Lyimo, leader of the centre, under the oversight of Fr Etienne Sion WF. The response wasextraordinary and God moved powerfully in the hearts of the hundreds of people who turned up to hear the Gospel message.
